Trailer
Fifteen seconds of real gameplay, captured from the game. Sound on.
"Your career is a runner." The words shatter into blocks that snap into a phone, the countdown hits GO! and the runner sprints through the Education Grind collecting a degree and a certificate. A kill freezes on an x2 streak. "Turn your phone": the phone swings sideways, YOU'RE HIRED!, and the camera pushes into Corporate Life. An HR email arrives, "we regret to inform you", the music stops and the Layoff Wave washes in. Rebooting, the neon AI Age runs at x4, and the career card flips in: stay relevant. Blocky Blitz.
It opens on the ending: an HR email, "we regret to inform you". The tape stops and rewinds the whole career backwards, then "let's start over." A split screen shows one run from two cameras, chase and side, at the same metre. Eight kills spell out "fight the job market", the frame turns, and this time the runner shoots the HR email to pieces: not this time. "Meet your replacement" brings the AI Age at x4, and the name lands: your career, your run.

At a glance
Blocky Blitz: Career Runner is a free endless shooter-runner for Android in which your career is the track. You run from college through corporate life and a layoff wave into the AI Age, blasting obstacles with a foam blaster and collecting career items. It is made by Affordance Design Studio.
Each career stage ends at a distance goal. The game freezes, a stage card appears, and you rotate your phone: portrait is a chase view behind the runner, landscape is a side-scrolling view. The same run carries on in the other camera, and the stages alternate between the two.
Swipe left or right to change lanes, swipe up to jump and swipe down to slide; hold the fire button to shoot. In the side view the lane is locked, so you jump, slide and shoot. Four career meters, Relevance, Burnout, Savings and Adaptability, end the run if one hits its limit, even if you never crash.
Yes. Version 1.0 is free, with no ads and nothing to buy. Coins are earned by playing and spent on 18 runners, 8 blasters and revives.
